Holding a doctorate from the University of Washington School of Nursing, Devon Berry served as executive associate nursing dean with the Oregon Health & Science University from 2015 to 2019. Outside of the professional sphere, former nursing dean Devon Berry enjoys hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest, particularly Oregon.

One of the most striking and popular hikes in Oregon, the Trail of 10 Falls ranks among both Trips to Discover’s “Eight Best Scenic Hikes in Oregon” and the REI Co-Op Journal’s “10 Best Hikes in Oregon.” Located near the city of Silverton in Silver Falls State Park, this trail is aptly named, taking hikers past all 10 of the park’s beautiful waterfalls.

In addition to these waterfalls, which range in height from 27 to 178 feet, the Trail of 10 Falls features lush forests and a small cave. A loop that traverses 7.8 miles, this trail is intermediate in difficulty.
